March 28, 2011 – Blue Ridge Partners officially launched “The Revenue Growth Blog” on its website today. The blog is accessible from a link on the main menu.
The blog is our newest communication vehicle for sharing our thoughts and ideas on topical issues that companies face in keeping their revenue engines tuned for competitive success. “Our Revenue Growth Blog represents another step in communicating our insights on revenue growth and market share expansion with our corporate and private equity clients and other interested parties” said Jim Corey, Managing Partner.
Managing Directors Michael Smith and Jerry Hughes, co-editors of the blog, will be assisted by other firm personnel in providing timely observations and ideas on topics including pricing strategies, improving lead generation for new customer acquisition, sales force effectiveness, growing market share and other topics related to accelerating top-line revenue performance, the #1 driver of value creation. From time-to-time client executives and other guest authors will be invited to contribute their thoughts to the blog.

July 1, 2010 – In announcing the promotion of Karen Malak Rocush to Principal in the firm effective today, Jim Corey, Managing Partner, noted “Karen is clearly ready for this next step in her career. She has led many important engagements, has contributed to the development of our firm and people and has established outstanding relationships with many of our clients”.
Karen will continue to focus on helping accelerate profitable revenue growth for clients in the healthcare and technology verticals. “I am pleased to work with such an outstanding group of professionals to provide our unique and insightful services” she said.
Karen has over 20 years of corporate management and consulting experience in a variety of settings: large company and start-up, public and private and domestic and international. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Partners, Karen worked as a general manager and product manager for Medline Industries, a privately-held medical supplies manufacturer and distributor. Karen’s start-up experience includes working as the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Chief Information Officer of Incisent Technology, provider of a decision support tool for the automotive industry and as the Vice President, Partnerships and Automotive Sales for TradeOut.com, an online exchange for excess inventory. Karen started her career with Accenture where she worked with Fortune 500 clients in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific for eleven years. Karen earned her M.B.A. at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Bucknell University.
