We have high standards for excellence and look for people who are motivated by that challenge. We generally hire people who have prior experience preferably in related areas of strategy consulting or analytical roles.
We have high expectations for our people and therefore apply rigorous standards throughout our hiring process. Below are the minimum criteria we seek in each candidate. All candidates should have demonstrated analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to work both independently and in teams.

Analysts

Brian Flaherty
Brian is an Analyst at Blue Ridge Partners. His engagements have included work in the consumer services and healthcare industries. He has experience in sales process improvement, customer segmentation, and sales force effectiveness. Before Blue Ridge Partners, Brian worked for Mockingbird Associates, a Nashville-based boutique consulting firm focused on business development. Brian has also spent time working for Allconnect, Inc., a start-up sales & marketing company, and for Goldman Sachs as a Summer Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions industry group.
Brian received a B.S. in Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University and now lives in the Washington, DC, area.
Angela Perkey
Angela joined Blue Ridge Partners in 2009. She has worked on engagements in industrial manufacturing, IT, healthcare, and financial services. She is experienced in assisting clients with strategy development, lead generation, and due diligence. Prior to working at Blue Ridge Partners, Angela was a Transfer Pricing Analyst at Ernst & Young.
Angela received a B.A. in Economics and Government from the College of William and Mary, and she currently lives in the Washington, DC, area.
Associates
Doug Rusch
Doug joined Blue Ridge Partners as an Associate in 2009. He has experience in growth strategy, pricing, customer segmentation, and sales and marketing effectiveness across a variety of industries including healthcare, business services, and industrial manufacturing. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Partners, Doug was a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting in Chicago.
Doug holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University. He currently resides in Chicago.

Christie Wherry
Christie has been an Associate with Blue Ridge Partners for one year. While at Blue Ridge, Christie has worked for clients in the healthcare, industrial goods, and consumer goods industries. Her projects have focused on customer segmentation, pricing, and channel partner strategies. Before joining Blue Ridge Partners, Christie was a Consultant in the Competitive Analysis group of BearingPoint’s Public Service sector.
Christie received her B.S. in Bioengineering from Cornell University and her M.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University. She currently resides in Chicago.
Managers

Alex Currall
Alex joined Blue Ridge Partners in early 2008. His work has focused on go-to-market strategy, customer and market analysis, sales force and channel development, and best practices benchmarking. His clients have included companies ranging from pre-funding start-ups to Fortune 500 firms. He has worked with clients in many different industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, business services and technology.
Prior to Blue Ridge Partners, Alex worked as a Director at nxtMOVE Consulting and an Analyst in the Financial Reporting Division of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Alex received a BS in Finance from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics and Political Science. He now lives in the Washington, DC, area.
Will Lennon
Will has over ten years experience in corporate management and strategic business consulting. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Partners in 2008, he had line management responsibility in the Customer Relationship Management program for a global company, general manager responsibility for a $300 million product line of a medical industry supplier and led strategy planning and implementation efforts with Fortune 500 companies and for clients of Luminant Worldwide. He was also an investment professional for a private investment firm focused on new business and organic growth strategies.
At Blue Ridge Partners, Will has assisted private equity firms in revenue due diligence efforts, and assisted business services and healthcare clients in revenue diagnostics, market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive positioning and sales force effectiveness.
Will received his MBA from Harvard Business School and has his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Economics and Near Eastern Studies from Brandeis University. He and his family reside in the Chicago area.
