Blue Ridge Partners Appoints AI-Driven Sales Transformation Leader Erica Summers as Managing Director

Expert in commercial transformation and AI brings proven impact across private equity portfolio companies

Blue Ridge Partners is pleased to announce that Erica Summers has joined the firm as Managing Director. Erica is a recognized leader in sales transformation and commercial excellence, with a particular focus on applying artificial intelligence to drive portfolio company growth and sales productivity.

Erica joins Blue Ridge Partners from Sovos, where she served as Vice President of Enablement and Transformation for the past two years. In that role, she led global initiatives to improve sales effectiveness, apply data-driven tools to accelerate revenue performance, and evolve the go-to-market and sales support functions leveraging AI. Earlier in her career, Erica held leadership roles at AWS, Gartner and Boston Scientific, where she helped organizations transform commercial functions, integrate acquisitions, and evolve go-to-market strategies.

She has worked extensively with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies to deliver measurable impact—including tripling seller productivity, applying AI to sales transformation, advancing predictive analytics for growth, and strengthening collaboration between sales and marketing. Her work has helped PE firms rapidly scale commercial capabilities, accelerate value creation, and prepare businesses for strategic exits.
